[email protected] Russell Dow serves as the president of Dow Wealth Management and has been actively involved in the investment business for over two decades.
He received his law degree in 1993 from the University of Connecticut School of Law; he graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Cornell University with a concentration in mathematics.
Russell is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the MSBA Trusts & Estates Section. (Although he is admitted to practice law in the State of Maine, neither Russell nor Dow Wealth Management provides legal advice.)
He is the founder of Dow Software, LLC, a developer of investment management computer software for broker/dealers and their advisors. Dow Software’s products are used extensively by Dow Wealth Management in the management of client accounts.
Russell, his wife Krisztina, and their two children live in Sarasota, Florida.

As an avid entrepreneur, Rick has successfully created and sold a variety of businesses in Florida. Early in his career, he received a presidential appointment as a Chief of Staff in the U.S. Department of Commerce in the Reagan administration. Rick is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts.
As an active member of his local community, Rick is proud to serve on the Salvation Army Advisory Board for Sarasota and has previously headed the Venice Advisory Board as its chairman. Rick is an accomplished musician, enjoys skiing, tennis, golf, and is a private pilot.

[email protected]Robert Stepleman lectures and conducts seminars for Dow Wealth Management. Additionally, since 2000 he has written a weekly column on portfolio strategy that appears both in print and on the Internet, first for the New York Times Regional Newspapers and now for the Halifax Media Group. He has also written on portfolio risk management for Barron’s Financial Weekly. Additionally, he assists in the management of the investment portfolio of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.
Dr. Stepleman holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Physics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has taught at the University of Virginia and Rutgers University. He also spent 20 years at Exxon Research and Engineering Company and seven years with the RCA David Sarnoff Research Center.
Dr. Stepleman has lectured widely on practical methods for balancing portfolio risk and return. He espouses the view that investing success starts with portfolio design and ensuring that for each investment the potential reward justifies the risk taken on by making it.
